Amitabh Bachchan as 'Ashwatthama' primes Team India for the 'Mahayudhh' of T20 World Cup
Ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which is just a month away, Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the tournament has released a promo starring Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. In the video, Bachchan gives a rousing speech to prime Team India for the upcoming "Mahayuddh" as his Ashwatthama character from the movie Kalki 2898 AD. "The legendary Amitabh Bachchan, stepping into the formidable role of 'Ashwatthama' in his debut teaser from 'Kalki 2898 AD' promises an exhilarating moment for Team India's passionate fans as they unite to support the team's quest to bring home the T20 World Cup, just like they did in 2007," said the broadcaster. The ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be held in June in the West Indies and in the USA, with the event featuring 20 teams competing across 55 games.
