Phase 5 of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 concluded yesterday. When people set out to cast their votes, brands did not hesitate in giving them some ‘Monday Vote-vation’. From Blinkit to Uber to Amul, brands from all categories decorated the social media feed with their creatives that heightened the spirits of the voters.

Amul

window.googletag = window.googletag || {cmd: []}; googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.defineSlot('/21740140234/e4m_story_page_para3_small_horizontal_banner_3_728x90_normal', [728, 90], 'div-gpt-ad-1595331589677-0').addService(googletag.pubads()); googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest(); googletag.enableServices(); });

Speaking of topical marketing and not mentioning Amul would be a sin. This brand never fails to impress viewers with its graphic visuals. This time, it showed women from different parts of the country showing off their inked fingers along with a butter toast, and a tagline - ‘For your motherland’.

Blinkit

This quick commerce brand went a step ahead and redesigned its brand name altogether. The logo changed from ‘Blinkit’ to ‘Inkit- Go out & Vote’ encouraging voters to go and get their index fingers inked.

boAt

Audio tech brand boAt also encouraged people to cast their votes with a series of creatives fashioned like OOH ads.

Dominos

The pizza chain restaurant offered a free Pepsi to anyone who voted, as per their Instagram post.

Federal Bank

This bank used smart wordplay and said ‘India ???’, with a tagline that said, ‘The country is banking on your vote, don’t let it down’.

Fevikwik

Adhesive brand Fevikwik quickly reminded people of what their superpowers were.

Skybags

This luggage and travel accessory brand made a colorful graphic to show a Skybag backpack and an inked finger over it targeting the youth. The post said ‘Hold onto your future. Voice your vote.’

The Sleep Company

The Sleep Company represented a peacefully sleeping man with an inked finger and said ‘Peaceful sleep can wait, your vote can’t’.

Uber

Uber asked its viewers ‘Vo-trip liya kya?’ with a visual that showed a non-inked finger as the starting point and an inked finger as the destination.
