Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar argue about starring in Myntra’s latest ad

Cinematic duo Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have leveraged their legendary chemistry with an ad for Myntra’s End of Reason sale. The two have starred together in a digital ad for the ecomm major, arguing about SRK’s decision to star in Myntra’s ad.

The ad shows SRK seated in a car, waving out to fans. Johar sitting in the front seat asks Khan why he has chosen to star in Myntra’s EOR Sale ad. The latter explains that the ad will help spread the word about international brands available on the platform at reasonable prices. To this, Johar retorts by saying they ought to gatekeep international fashion, otherwise everyone will end up wearing fancy global brands, taking the thunder away from Johar.  

In Johar’s own words, as SRK’s favourite director, he barrs the superstar from acting in the Myntra ad. The advert ends with the two taking the squabbling to childish levels.  

The comment section seemed to be enjoying the banter between the Bollywood legends, although Myntra caught a few strays with users complaining about customer experience.
