Surinder Chawla, the ex-MD and CEO of Paytm Payments Bank has been appointed as the President and Head of Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) Response. Partha Sinha will be President and Chief Brand Officer, reliable sources have told e4m.
Chawla, who joined Paytm in February 2023, has extensive experience across the banking and finance sector, serving as the Head of Branch Banking at RBL Bank before.
He has also worked for HDFC Bank, ABN AMRO Bank NV and Standard Chartered Bank.
Partha Sinha was previously the President, Response, where his primary responsibility was to grow the revenue and facilitate the interaction between brands and content.
Sinha is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad. In a career spanning about 30 years, he has been a nuclear design engineer, a banker, the strategy and marketing head of media and internet companies and an advertising strategist.
