Sagnik Ghosh joins Times of India Group

The Times of India Group has strengthened its leadership with the appointment of Sagnik Ghosh as Head of Creative Strategy, Branded Content, Innovations and Trade marketing. A source close to the development has confirmed the news to e4m. 

Ghosh was associated with Viacom18 before as the business head of the Bengal cluster. He joined the network in April 2021 where he was looking after the business operations of Viacom18 media in Bengal. 

Prior to joining Viacom 18, Ghosh worked with Star India as Executive Vice-President and Business Head, Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies (Bengal Cluster). In the Hindi Speaking Market, Ghosh headlined the brand revamp of Star Plus, and also re-launched Life OK as Star Bharat. In Bengal, Ghosh aided in the transformation of Star Jalsha. Before joining the Media and Entertainment industry, Ghosh worked with some of the top BFSI brands like Axis Bank, HSBC etc.

A cross-industry veteran with over 2 decades of experience panning Media and Entertainment, Advertising and BFSI industries, Sagnik, in his previous assignments, had led Star Jalsha and Star Bharat to leadership positions in their respective markets and genres.

He has also worked with companies like Liqvd Asia, Grey Worldwide, Zee Interactive Learning Systems, and TBWA India.
