Actor turned entrepreneur Sushant Singh Rajput collaborated with NITI AAYOG’S flagship initiative, the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP). The agreement was signed in the presence of Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog by Ms. Anna Roy, Adviser (Industry), NITI Aayog and actor Sushant Singh Rajput. While catching up with Pitch, Sushant Singh Rajput commented on his association with NITI Aayog, and the new initiative started by them. ‘My partner Varun Mathur and I have started a company called Innsaei, which works on intellect IPs and also on exponential technologies. We understandwhat is missing and saturating the economic structure. However, the solutions we were coming up with were causing other problem. We were primarily thinking of how we can awaken the system and were studying technology and algorithms, which is how bottom up emergence happens. We are actually punctuating the most fundamental, core idea that Innsaei stands for and we align with Niti Aayog on that level,’ said Sushant. Talking about the new initiative of Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP), Sushant said, ‘We are empowering women entrepreneurs. It is not just so women can be independent or contribute to the National GDP but because it is missing from our economic and social structure.’ Describing his journey from a television star to entrepreneur, Sushant said ‘I have always been an entrepreneur because I have always worked on creating and running my startups alongside my acting career.’ ‘Digital has become an important factor today in promoting businesses. You can’t stop it, you can’t even delay it because that is what exponential technologies are.’, said Sushant about Digital technology changing the landscape of business.
