Sanjiv Mehta joins Dr Reddy's Laboratories board
Former Hindustan Unilever (HUL) CEO and MD Sanjiv Mehta has announced that he has joined Dr Reddy's Laboratories Limited as a Non Executive Independent Member of their Board of Directors. Mehta disclosed the development on LinkedIn, saying that he has already attended his first set of board meetings at the pharmaceutical company. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is a Hyderabad-based multinational pharmaceutical company founded by Kallam Anji Reddy. The company specialises in a wide range of pharma products which are marketed in India and abroad.Mehta is the former CEO and Managing Director of HUL, one of the largest consumer goods companies in India. He was associated with the company for over 30 years, stepping down in June 2023. He is also on the board ofmultinational food-products corporationDanone andAir India Limited.
