Anuj Rathi to be new CEO of Cleartrip
Flipkart has announced the appointment of Anuj Rathi as the new CEO of its travel booking unit Cleartrip, media reports stated. Rathi is returning to Flipkart after 12 years and will replace Ayyappan R, reports added. This will be Rathi’s second stint at the Walmart-owned company. He worked at Flipkart for two years between 2010 and 2012 as Product Manager.

Prior to this, Anuj Rathi was the chief product and marketing officer at fintech firm Jupiter.

Rathi is an IIT Kanpur alumnus and has more than 18 years of experience in the industry. In his previous stints, he worked for Walmart, Snapdeal, and Swiggy, among others. As per media reports, several senior leaders like Prabh Simran Singh - Senior Vice President of customer growth and retention, Marketing and Ads and Sankalp Mehrotra, Vice President of Monetisation are also on their way out from the firm.
