L’Oréal hosts India’s first virtual campus connect program

'L’Oréal on Campus 2020’ helped management students experience the work, life and culture of L’Oréal through a first-of-its-kind experiential campus engagement L’Oréal India recently concluded L’Oréal on Campus 2020 – Online and On-point’, a campus connect initiative aimed at engaging with students from leading B-schools. Amidst the global pandemic, the virtual programme aimed to introduce students to L’Oréal’s purpose-driven employer value proposition. The program tapped 15 partner campuses connecting with 4000+ young minds as they closely interacted with and discovered L’Oréal over 50 speaker sessions.

Commenting on the program, Roshni Wadhwa, Director – Human Resources, L'Oréal India shared, “L’Oréal has an extremely strong campus connect focus and while we could not be on campus in person this year, due to the pandemic, we wanted to ensure students would still be able to live the promise of L’Oréal. In line with our new EVP which is all about Freedom, the program was carefully curated to give our Gen Z participants the freedom to select sessions, speakers or interactions basis their interest. L’Oréal on Campus is a manifestation of our commitment to innovation and talent, and we’re delighted with the encouraging response received from students and partner campuses alike.

The platform provided a virtual experience of L’Oréal through interactive sessions with key leadership from India and APAC,  8 career cafés on Commercial, Marketing, Finance, E-commerce, HR, IT, Digital and Supply Chain, to enable students to gain insight into these functions and specialisations; along with workshops on preparing for interviews, and acing internships. The students could also actively experience L’Oréal’s AI tools like ModiFace to understand the role of augmented reality and AI in building an enhanced consumer experience.
