When asked about the move said, Bansal told exchange4media, “The journey at OMG and PHD has been personally very fulfilling and gratifying. PHD stands today as a force to reckon with among media agencies in India and I am sure it will continue to set new standards on the back of its strong team and its clients. A big thank you from me to all of them for making the last 10+ years very worthwhile. I am excited to move onto new adventures in my career.” When contacted for comments, James Hawkins, CEO of PHD APAC, said: “Throughout her tenure, Jyoti has played an instrumental role in establishing PHD as a bonafide force in India’s agency landscape. We are incredibly grateful for her numerous contributions to our business over the past decade and wish her all the success in her future endeavours.” e4m tried reaching Bansal through calls and messages but they remained unanswered till the time of publishing this story. Prior to PHD, she was with Omnicom Media Group which she joined in 2009 as Business Lead. There, she worked with brands like Unilever, Sony Networks, Ferrero, Renault Nissan and HTC. Meanwhile, Kartik Sharma, former South Asia CEO of GroupM-owned media agency Wavemaker, is expected to take over as  Omnicom Media Group’s Chief Executive for India operations from the third week of July."In the meantime, it is business as usual for PHD India with no disruption to our business. Additionally, Kartik Sharma, a veteran and industry heavyweight, will be coming on board in a few weeks as CEO for OMG India. His leadership, combined with his solid grasp of India’s media business, will put us in good stead to continue partnering our clients in making the leap with strategic thinking and creative innovation." Sharma will work closely with CEOs of OMD and PHD. OMD India and PHD Media India are a part of the larger Omnicom Media Group.
